La Torre della Palazzina is located in Tuscany close to the Upper Tiber Valley near the Umbria border, just north of Lago Trasimeno in the renowned Niccone valley, the valley of castles, centred on Mercatale di Cortona between Cortona and Umbertide. The historic towns of Assisi, Perugia, Gubbio, Cortona, Arezzo, Citta di Castello, Orvieto, Pienza, Sansepolcro, Spello, Spoleto, Todi, Montepulciano and Siena, to name just a few of the local sights, are all within a short drive. The cities of Firenze and Roma are also both easily accessible as well by car or train.
