This is a unique property which provides the perfect place for large family groups, but is also well suited for weddings and business meetings as well. Additional properties on the Todi Castle Estate allow for large groups to be accommodated in close proximity to each other centred on the castle. The tranquil location, the scenery, the service and the whole atmosphere of the place allows you to enjoy the charm and beauty of a fabulous holiday in Italy ~ all in considerable style and comfort.

The imposing entrance leads through the castle courtyard into the reception rooms on the lower floor.

Here there is a spacious and comfortable drawing room with open fire, antique furniture and satellite television (which can be linked to every bedroom). There is a telephone and fax and also a laptop computer with dial up internet connection for guests to use.

Adjoining this centrally located drawing room there is a large dining room with its exceptional dining table and hand made chairs where all guests can dine together. These rooms, like all at Todi Castle have attractive serena stone floors, ancient wooden beamed ceilings and contain many historical family heirlooms.

The superbly equipped kitchen has an extensive range of modern culinary facilities including freezer, microwave oven, dishwasher and washing machine. Breakfast will be prepared here for all guests by the staff and a resident chef is available to prepare any sort of meal that you require at Todi Castle.

All these rooms on the lower floor have access to the outside shaded terrace where a large stone table allows you to laze and eat al fresco. There are panoramic views from here over the castle's estate and surrounding countryside.

An internal stairway with wrought iron banisters lead up to the first floor and two double bedrooms ~ one with double bed, one with twin beds. All the bedroom suites in Todi Castle have a sitting area and each have been decorated in their own individual distinctive style with antique and contemporary artwork and furniture. Each one is equipped with satellite television, telephone and each has its own spacious bathroom with full bath and shower.

The second floor contains two more double bedrooms ~ one with a double bed and the other with twin beds ~ all with ensuite bathrooms.

From the second floor a door leads out to an external walkway and along the battlements of the castle to an amazing suite at the very top of the Tower.

Here a bedroom with double bed, located on a mezzanine floor, a sitting room and a bathroom provides the quintessential room with a view!

The west wing of the castle is located just outside the main entrance to Todi Castle with a self contained and spacious apartment. It has its own independent front door and provides additional accommodation that can be rented together with the main part of the castle, though not separately.

There are two bedrooms, one with twin beds and other with one single bed, and a bathroom. All have the same facilities as the other bedrooms in Todi Castle.

There is also a fully fitted kitchen, a living room with open fireplace, satellite television and telephone. Should it be required this independent apartment allows some members of any group renting Todi Castle to have a degree of independence and privacy or for guests to use for any nannies or au pairs that are accompanying the family.

The dramatically sited 5 x 14 metre swimming pool is located a short distance away in a quiet, private position. There are changing facilities here with pool towels and bathrobes and also a refrigerator for cold drinks.

Within the 250 acre Todi Castle estate, there are three other properties which are available to rent. All of them are totally private and away from the castle, but if required can be rented together with the castle for those large family gatherings. Among the extensive number of other rooms within the Castle there is a medieval banqueting room which can cater for family gatherings, wine tastings and other feasts.

Many of our guests have rented Todi Castle, not only for the reception for their wedding, but also for the wedding itself as there is a delightful small private chapel within the castle.

The Santoro Family, who are the present owners of Todi Castle, live in another part of the castle and are available for any assistance you may require whilst staying here. They have created a successful mixture of a well established family run business and the Italian tradition of hospitality.

The furnished terraces, green lawns, manicured gardens and dramatic backdrop of the Apennines in the distance all make Todi Castle a real gem of a place in which to stay in style and comfort. Horses and deer graze within the estate and the views are outstanding. In many ways these views epitomise the classic Umbrian scene ~ olive groves, vineyards and rows of silent cypresses trees. This is not an ordinary place ~ it is very special indeed!

Other Meals: The resident chef can prepare all meals on request and also provide cooking classes.

Mountain Bikes. These are available for rent.
Assistance: The Todi Castle Estate has a concierge service that can help with a comprehensive range of additional services including banquets, weddings, cooking demonstrations, wine and truffle tastings, special evenings for celebrations (with entertainment), cultural tours, massages, saunas, hairdressing, babysitting, car and driver, car rental, pre arrival grocery purchase and many other “tailor made” services. It will be necessary to book these services in advance and we will give you the appropriate contact once a reservation is made.

Rental Facts

Rental Basis: Self catering. Breakfast is provided and a chef is available at all times.
Security/Breakage Deposit. Euro 500 or the equivalent in any currency is payable on arrival. This will be returned to you on departure less any necessary deductions.

Rental Periods: Todi Castle is available all year round for a minimum of 7 nights with changeover on Saturday. The West Wing Apartment is only available with the main castle.
Included in the Rental Price: The rental price includes all taxes, the consumption of electricity, gas and water (for normal general usage), the use and laundry of bed linen & towels and final cleaning.
