Casa degli Archi, for six people, is an independent part of the main farmhouse at Maridiana located on an estate in the hills of the Niccone valley. This lovely property has been restored to a high standard and is tastefully decorated with antique local country furniture. The farm is now one Italy's most renowned centres for raising lamas, alpacas and angora goats.

The front door leads into a large and classic country kitchen equipped with all modern facilities.

Two spacious rooms separated by an archway provide masses of space for dining and sitting. A bedroom leads off from these rooms on the lower floor containing two single beds.

Upstairs there are two further bedrooms with two single beds each. One of these bedrooms has its own ensuite bathroom and there is also a separate bathroom on this floor as well.

Casa degli Archi has its own private garden and area in which to laze and dream. It is located in a lovely position on the south facing slopes of the Niccone valley. There are fabulous views from everywhere and their garden leads directly into the surrounding countryside and a maze of lovely walks.

Located across a small grass courtyard from Casa degli Archi lies Il Casale which sleeps 5 people. Both properties are sufficiently private from each-other to rent independently, but at the same time close enough for a larger group to take both houses together if required.

The farm office has an internet connection which is available for those guests to use that really cannot keep away from the frenetic pace of life back home.

Maridiana has a friendly and warm atmosphere. The charming Italian owners, both of whom speak excellent English, will make you feel really welcome and you will have a memorable holiday here. You will also inevitably meet many of their alpacas! The owners have a small shop that sells lovely garments created from the alpaca wool.

Linen & Towels: Linen and towels are provided and these will be changed for clean ones at the end of each week.
House Book: A comprehensive house book is provided.
Assistance: The key holder lives close-by and is on call to help for those unusual events and circumstances that cannot be resolved by reading the house book.
