Casa Cielo is sited in the most stunning of locations in the hills of Umbria with unparalleled panoramic views over the Niccone valley and Tuscany.  It features a centuries old square tower and can accommodate a total of nine people.  As the name implies this is a house right up in the sky!

The upper floor is reached by an external stone stairway that leads up to a large outdoor terrace.

The front door opens from this terrace into the spacious sitting room with large dining table, easy chairs, sofa and open fireplace.  Broadband internet access with VOIP phone service and SKYPE access is positioned in this room.

The well appointed and spacious kitchen leads off from this room.  It has a double sink, 4 ring gas hob & oven, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and all modern appliances.

An external door from this kitchen leads out onto the terrace.  This provides the perfect spot for that morning coffee or evening sun downer.  The magnificent views from here will inevitably distract you from most culinary tasks!

Another door from the sitting room leads to the other side of the house and the two bedrooms on this floor.  This one with a double bed …………..

 ……….. and this one with a single bed.  Also on this floor there are two bathrooms both with shower, loo and basin.

An internal stone stairway winds up to the tower of the house on the top floor in which there is a romantic bedroom, with queen sized double bed.

There are dramatic views over the surrounding Umbrian countryside from this bedroom with this stunning panorama of the Niccone valley and Tuscan hills.

The entrance to the lower part of the house is from this covered loggia that provides a lovely shaded area for alfresco meals.

The entrance opens into a large sitting room with sofa, easy chairs, dining table and an open fireplace as its focal point.

From this room a door leads into the delightful kitchen which is equipped with a sink, 4 ring gas hob & oven, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and all modern appliances.  French windows from this kitchen open directly onto the outside covered terrace.

There are two double bedrooms on this floor.  One bedroom has a double bed ………….

 ……… and the other has two single beds.  

Both these bedrooms on the lower floor of Casa Cielo share a bathroom with shower, loo, double basins and bidet.

In the extensive garden of Casa Cielo a winding pathway leads from the house up to the private swimming pool.

This pool is sited in a fabulous position and really is a pool with a view.

Casa Cielo is a remarkable villa that provides everything you could want from a holiday here in Umbria ~ comfort, privacy, pool and stunning views.  Being positioned on the Umbria / Tuscany borders it is also easily accessible to the cultural gems that both these magical regions of Italy can offer.

Approach Drive:  A 2 km gravel road leads from the asphalt surface public road to the property.  This is quite steep in parts, but quite manageable.
Parking:  There is plenty of space for cars to park on the premises.

Linen & Towels:  All linen and towels are provided.
Towels for Swimming Pool Use:  Yes.
Linen Change:  All linen will be changed every 6 or 7 days.
Laundry.  You have free use of the washing machine.  A charged laundry service is available on request.
House Cleaning:  The house will be cleaned every 6 or 7 days.  Extra house cleaning is available on request.
House Book: A comprehensive house book is provided.
Assistance: The key holder lives close-by and is on call to help for those unusual events and circumstances that cannot be resolved by reading the house book.

Rental Facts
Currency for Payment: Euros.
Weekly Rental Price:  Detailed prices are available on request from Italian Encounters.
Price Grading:  Medium for upper floor only.  Higher for whole house.  Please see Properties Home Page for the definition of this grading.
Rental Basis:  Self-catering.  The whole property will be for the exclusive use of just one group.  The upper floor is available independently and in these circumstances the ground floor will be closed.
Rental Periods:  Available all year round for a minimum of 7 nights with changeover on Saturday.
Rental Restrictions:  No Pets.
Included in the Rental Price:  The rental price includes all taxes, the consumption of electricity, gas and water, including the use of central heating, the use and laundry of bed linen and final cleaning.
Not Included in the Rental Price:  The use of the following services will be charged and payment will be due locally.

• Broadband internet access and VOIP phone service.
• Additional house cleaning if requested.
• Laundry if requested.

Breakage/Cleaning/Security Charge: None.  All breakages should be reported to the key holder.
